The Fruit of the Spirit is made up of nine qualities: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. These are the attitudes and traits that someone who believes in Jesus Christ should show. This fruit is not produced by us; real change is produced by the Holy Spirit working in us. People who are saved by Jesus become more like Him; the Holy Spirit changes our hearts to help us love God and want to obey Him. Just as it takes time for fruit to grow, the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives happens over time as we study the Bible, pray, worship, and fellowship with other believers. We have included some suggestions for your study of the Fruits of the Spirit.
Our response should be to ask ourselves and challenge our students to ask, “How can I submit myself to the Holy Spirit’s leadership to change me to become a person who is more loving, joyful, peaceful, and kind?” Through prayer, worship, fellowship, and Bible study, people who are saved by Jesus are transformed to be more like Him, and the Holy Spirit gives them power to say no to sin and to live in a way that pleases God. The fruit of the Spirit is the result of true gospel transformation.
You receive 2 different color versions of artwork on the Fruit of the Spirit. These are just downloadable pages. The artwork comes with a permission form so your local office store will print them out for you. When you put the artwork onto a flash drive you will need to remember to add the permission form if you are taking it to a printer. You might ask to see a test copy first and make sure the paper is not too flimsy. We like 22 to 24 lb paper (if you use a cover or card stock it will not stay glued down as long). We recommend glue sticks.
USAGE: You have our permission to use the artwork you download from this website with all the members of your immediate family (including grandchildren), and with church or homeschooling classes that you are participating in and if you are a teacher you can use them with your students. We understand if you need to be reimbursed for printing costs but ask that you do not sale them or post them on a website.
